Recording your processor settings...a little help

So, you've spent all that time tweaking your system until it is just perfect. Then, you upgrade to the latest software revision and reset the unit to the factory defaults. BOOM, all of those settings you so carefully entered are all gone. Back to square one....right?

Well, in an effort to help those with a Rotel processor (specifically, the RSP-1068) keep an accurate record of their configuration settings, I have created a custom form to ease the task.

Feel free to use the attached form, and let me know if you find any discrepencies. All settings should be listed, as of the latest software revision (1.2.5).

I'm not sure of the differences between the RSP-1068 vs. other Rotel processors and receivers, but I might consider creating other versions of the form, if you can supply the information.

    Enjoy.

Sorry, sirbogey...maybe you could make a game out of it, by first guessing at what all your settings were, and then checking against your recorded answers! :W

Guess what Rotel sent me this morning!
Note that the HD units indicates the newer models running the modified chipsets. If your machine is using these different chipsets please do not flash your firmware unless you've obtained the correct file directly from Rotel.

          Official CP-800 (Revision 2) Thread
          by RebelMan
The CP-800 is going to be getting an all new digital input board to replace the existing one. Originally Classé was planning to release an upgradeable daughter card to support Airplay over WiFi and Ethernet. This is no longer the case. The new board will still support Airplay over Ethernet but it will...

Suggestions as to whether Meridian is a suitable pre/processor upgrade
          by ShadowZA
I'm planning an upgrade for the end of this year/early 2007 and it looks as though this could be a probable upgrade path:

          1. Power amp: Replace Rotel RMB-1075 amp with a Krell KAV-2250 to drive the B&W Nautilus 804 rears. RMB-1075 will be relegated to living room stereo duty to drive...
