    System Automation Question!

    Buzz,

I have to plan a way to trigger my amp as well as other components.

I have my Max 1500 controlling the power swithcing of all of my HT gear. I use the AC switched outlet on the 5800 to trigger the power center which turn's on power to the complete HT. The delayed outlet is used for a AC/DC adapter to trigger the amps 12v switch. This is done because the amp has a dedicated 30 amp circuit.

I don't know how to get the AV32R-EX to be the master controller without it having a AC outlet.

If you have any idea's or how I can use the switches on the Tag to trigger my power center please let me know!

    Thanks
    Rick

It's easy. Just buy (or find in your basement) a 12v power supply and a DB-9 connector. Put one of the three switches on the AV32R-EX in line with the power supply and it can control your Panamax.
Call me if you need to walk through it.

I would like to be able to turn on/off the power amps when I turn on/off my CP-500 Classe Pre-amp. I'm not sure how to do this. Is it just a matter of connecting the two (or three), or do I have to do some configuration within the CP-500 in order for it to recognize the signal? I'm thinking of adding...

      Hi!

Does anyone know how many mA the 12V trigger out jacks can deliver, and if the it can be used to power a small fan?

I have my system in a cabinet, and to ensure proper cooling, I thought I'd mount a small computer fan in the cabinet wall. So I thought it would be really...

      Hi all,
