Just got the new 1092 dvd player. The sound is great. The picture is not as good as I was hoping for. I am using the 1080 i output. Does anyone know if there is a way to tweak the picture or does the unit need time to "break in"? I am running a new Sony 60 inch rear projection LCOS tv.

Literally just got back from an audio shop here in London where I had a small demonstration of the 1092. The HD resolutions all looked the same to me, but then again they plugged them into smaller HDTV's 27" - 40". I read a review on Hometheaterhifi.com and it lists about every player but the Rotel. The Denon 3910 was scored...-

by mlundeHi,
I'm looking for some help in regards to unlocking an RDV-1092 for playing both R1 and R2 discs. I currently live in Canada, where supposedly all major brands have a licensing contract, prohibiting them from releasing anything but locked R1 players. I'm from Europe however, meaning...-
