If you only have 2 804's right now, I would say go with a RB-1080. It will be slightly better then the 1095 in stereo, plus this lets you go with a separate amp later that might be better suited to whatever speakers you get for the center and rears (which still might be the 1095).

I must agree with Kevin, since you bought a 1066 you will not need the extra channels of the 1095. As far as rotel is concerned, the 1095 is simply a 5 channel version of the 1080. Of course the 1095 has 2 transformers intead of one to be able to power the additional channels. If you're not planning to have more than a 5.1 you could simply trade the 1066 for a 1095 and in that manner have a 1 amp instead of 2.

Hello everyone - my first posting, and as is usual on forums I've seen elsewhere, I'm asking questions and trying to learn.

I am a two channel listener, who is asked to consider family needs and invest in HT for the first time. So, whilst I'm HiFi savvy, I need to "read into"...

          by sn7
I am planning on gradually building a good B&W based system. I have a big room (25' x 15' x 12'). I will be using it for 50% movies and 50% music. I do not ramp up my volume too high. I would like to have a good cinema surround feel and still enjoy the clarity in my music.

          I am planning...
