About 1056+1095 pls help

    About 1056+1095 pls help

    I hv plan to buy 1056+1095 with B&W 703/705/HTM7
    All will be powered by 1095 except surround back with 1056.

    Can I use the left 3 ch power of 1056 for Zone2?
    I will install simple inwall Phillip speaker x 4 in separate rooms.
    or Do I need separate Amp for Zone2?

      You can redirect FL and FR to power the second zone OR the surround backs but not both.

      You would need an amp to power the other.

          Insane thought here but what the heck. The RSX1056 has no DAC for zone 2.
          Could I drive say video 3 of RSX-1056 with the preout FL,FR so then a
          digital signal on video 2 would get DAC'd then send video3 to zone 2.

          Am I totally crazy here? I really want my zone 2 to play...

          I have a 1055 and have a second zone set up. I have a xantech touchpad in that zone which controls the zone2 function of the 1055. I would like to be able to turn the zone2 on or off from a touchpad in the main room (that touchpad controls the main system).

          I use my 1056 for 2 channel but plan on getting a separate amp shortly. I'd like to use the 1056's amp to power two small speakers in another room... then use just the separate amp to power my main speakers in my living room. I might play them both at the same time.. but, naturally, the same signal...
