I am always looking around and see these amps for sale from time to time. How are they? Compared to the 1075 or 1080? I have heard those and I really like them..... so is it still a really solid amp?

I have the RB-1080 and it is a really awesome amp. They are known for building good stuff and I'm sure the 993 is pretty solid too. What kinda price are you looking at one for???-Joe -
It's pretty much 95% of 1.5 RB1080's...

Just purchased a used RB-993 amplifier, but have yet to install it and connect it up (hopefully this evening). I've read some older reports that the 993 would run hot during operation. Additionally, I have read a report or two that at some point Rotel may have implemented or made available a bias... -

I recently acquire a Rotel RB993. Unlike the new Rotel RB1080, RB1095 etc, the RB993 does not have a 12V input. I like to know if anyone has suggestions on how to go about adding some sort of auto power-up kit to the power amp to work with my Denon 3805 receiver.
