Zone 2 and Video on 1066

    Hi there,

I want to be able to watch TV in my bedroom, with a preamp like the 1066 in the lounge. The zone 2 outputs on the 1066/98 seem to be just L & R audio. Is there any zone 2 composite video output that I'm missing?

    Cheers

Unfortunately, this is a feature which is missing from the 1055/65/66. I believe the upcoming products will fix this shortfall.

In the meantime, you may be able to use a 'video monitor' out (OK if you're using the same video source as in the main zone) and use your TV other inputs to switch to other sources.

I'd have to review the manuals for the 1055/1066 but I'm pretty sure my 1098 can pass on at least composite (and s-video I think) via zone 2.

When hooking up a progressive scan DVD player, the RSP-1066, and a digital tevevision with composite video: Do you just do composite video from the DVD, to the 1066, then composite to the TV? What are you all doing for this onfiguration? Thanks in advance

        Hi all,

I am an owner of a 1098. I have an XBOX 360 with component out that I have plugged into the 1098. I am trying to get the picture BOTH on my projector through component, AND on the LCD display. The video out kit on the xbox has a switch to switch between HD (720p, 1080i or 1080p)...

        Hi guys,

I just replaced my Denon 3802 with a Rotel 1066 yesterday, hooked up to a Rotel 1075 amp. I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it yet but so far it sounds awesome.

I have a problem with my video connections though. I had no problems with the Denon 3802 so...

OK... So hooking up Zone 2 now.

The question I have is as follows ... I have the Sat receiver and DVD all hooked up by S-Video & Toslink and Component & Digital Coax respectively.

Now if I understand the procedure properly I need to run a separate set of analogue...

        by alphaGeek
        Hello,
Thanks to reading your forum for the past few days, I pulled the trigger and purchased my 1066 yesterday. Whee!

I have a boat-load of questions, but here is my first:

Do you recommend that I use the 1066 for video switching?

        I have:
