    RDV-1060: Rotel-Screen Appears Briefly While Playing Movies

    (My setup) The RDV-1060 is connected to my TV by S-Video.

    (The problem) While playing a DVD movie when there’s a scene change, the Rotel-screen will suddenly appear for a moment. Then the Rotel-screen disappears and the movie continues to play normally.

    The Rotel-screen should not be appearing during the movie since I haven’t touched any of the controls (DVD, TV, nothing). Normally the Rotel-screen should only appear at the end of the DVD once I press the STOP button.

    Has anyone else encountered (or heard of) this problem with the 1060, or other Rotel DVD player.

    Any insight is appreciated.

      Could anyone tell me the difference, if any, when playing a CD on the RDV1060 compared to the RCD1072. I was enquiring about the RCD1072 and the salesman advised me to rather go with the RDV 1060.
