Anyone heard this player yet?

I am looking at a cd/dvd player and i was originally looking at the arcam range but notived that rotel had brought this one out without the grab handles of the previous offerings which i dont like the look of.

Can anybody give me a review of this player?

Since it's not available in the US, you might have to wait a bit for a reply. I haven't seen any reviews on it yet. It will most likely come in lower then the 10 series players.

I have only seen it in the store but I have not heard it.

It all depends on what you listen to. For movies it is a fine progressive player. For music it is better than most dvd players. However musically limited, when compared to a dedicated CD player.

But still it is a nice DVD player, good build quality, picure and sound. for the money.

Just try to find a store that has both and audition them. Your public profile does not inlcude your location, so I cannot give you a recommendation on dealers.
