Does anybody know the newest sofware version of RSP 1098? I bought one of those great units yesterday on Ebay (2 month old,once unpacked for 1750€) :T

Either 1.18, 2.18 or 3.15 depending on the TFT. You can find which version you have by pressing Mute for a few seconds, download the update if necessary from: http://www.rotel.com/support/techups/techup-H20.htm- Mike

Actually the 1.xx to 2.xx difference is whether it has Pro-Logic IIx or not. All 1.XX units can update to 2.XX with an additional eprom transfer.
You are correct on the 2.xx to 3.xx though!

As promised, HERE is V4.0 of the "Wish-list" for the Rotel RSP-1098 (Updated Sunday 7 March 2004).
Some key points:- It now incorporates the RSP-1068 and the RSX-1067, with the latest version of firmware for these.
