    RMB-1095 Protection?

    Hi Guys,

I have a 1098 1095 combo and it seems that my 1095 goes into protection after a couple of hours. The FR & RR channels go into protection mode first and the the LF & LR next. The centre channel is ok but i do not understand why it does this. There us a gap onto of the unit so air is getting to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How big of a gap and what ohm load are your speakers? With it being both sides I would suspect heat first and them speaker load.. My 1095 is in a closet with 12" of free space above it and will go into protection if I run it hard for two hours straight. (Full music, not on movies)..
