Hi everyone. I need your help on my 1098. When i am watching satellite (zenith dtv-1080) and i go to change the channel the pre amp clicks. Is there any way to get it to stop? Other than that though what an awesome piece of equipment.

It's prefectly normal for the 1098 to "click" when changing channels on your TV tuner. Rotel's engineers wanted the purist audio signal possible so they chose not to interject muting circuitry in the audio signal path. Your 1098 is losing the signal then re-aquiring it so then it has to figure out if it's mono, stereo, Dolby ProLogic, DD, DTS, etc., etc.. That's the clicking sound you hear. Other receivers and pre/pros do this as well. The Denon 3803 I owned prior to the 1098 clicked as well.

Second question: I have my gear loaded onto one circuit and when my refrigerator...-

by Swilliams97I have a new 1098 with both DVD and Scientific Atlanta cable box connected with Comp cables and using video switching.
