Good morning!
I finally got my RSP-1098 and RMB-1095, I must say I couldn't be more satisfied. A huge step up in sound quality, especially stereo, which is awesome considering it's a surround system. I use a high-end HTPC for all audio and video sources, and use the TV-out on the graphics card to get the desktop on the TFT.
I have a few questions:
1. Is the clicking-sound on RSP-1098 when changing between inputs etc. normal?
2. The firmware in the RSP-1098 is in the 2-series (can't remember the whole thing). Shall I update to the 3-series, og shall I just get the latest firmware in the 2-series?
3. Shall I always leave the RMB-1095 on? I use it almost every day. What about the RSP-1098 - shall I leave it in standby-mode when I finish for the day?
4. Is there a way to determine what sound signal (i.e. 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz) that the RSP-1098 receives from the HTPC? On my previous receiver 44.1 kHz would show in the display. I try to achieve bit-perfect playback. My HTPC shall be set up correctly - shall I use the "2-channel PCM" mode on the RSP-1098?
Thanks for any help! Great forum!

Use the latest 2.xx file. TFT manufacturer change required new software, but 3.xx doesn't add anything over 2.xx.
