    I need help ...

I bought a Rotel 1066 yesterday and after spending hours and hours I cannot get the onscreen menu to display. I am using composite connectors thru video 1, I am using the proper input channel on the television (Toshiba 65 inch rear projection unit), I see OCD displayed on the Rotel LCD display but it's LYING ! There is no onscreen menu on my TV. Could it be some incompatiblity issue? Or do I just have a dud atm?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome BWL, it's nice to see a fellow Vancouverite on here Beautiful today isn't it!? 8)

The onscreen display will only show up on your TV if you have the "Monitor Out" connected to the input of your TV. If you only have the "Video 1" output connected to the TV it only passes through the video 1 signal, not the 1066's display info.

Let us know if you have any further questions

Question: Projector widescreen stretching of HD-15 (VGA) sourced video
      by Jerri
I have an Xbox with a VGA (HD-15) adaptor. I understand the Xbox's widescreen 480p mode to use 640x480 anamorphically compressed video, similar to the 720x480 anamophically compressed video from a DVD player. I want to be able to connect the Xbox to a projector using the VGA adaptor and have it display...

      Hi all,

I am an owner of a 1098. I have an XBOX 360 with component out that I have plugged into the 1098. I am trying to get the picture BOTH on my projector through component, AND on the LCD display. The video out kit on the xbox has a switch to switch between HD (720p, 1080i or 1080p)...

      Hi, Guys!

I'm interested in finding the best solution to display a video signal to my FPTV as well as another monitor. The few things that have come to mind are a 1 in to 2 out video switcher or maybe adding another cheap video card. I'm looking for the solution that will not degrade...

OK, so I'm trying to figure out how I can use an upscaling DVD player to display 1080p video on my new HDTV, while still trying to route the DVD audio thru' my super Rotel RSP-1068 processor/amplifiers and speakers.

Can I use HDMI connections from the DVD player into the TV directly (just...

Very Strange Video Problem with RSP1068.

      Hello all,
I'm having a very strange problem with passing progressive video. I assigned the DVD player (Pioneer Elite dv47a) to V2 in progressive, DVD player is set to progressive, my HDTV can except the Progressive signal. What happens is the rsp1068 will not pass the video unless I first open...
