CD connection on a DVD player (RSP 1098)

This question is about the Stereo output of my DVD player , which I use as a CD and SACD player also.

All the cable are plug in the Video N°4 input (coaxial 4, YUV 4). 5.1 output in connect to multi input (ext).

Is it better to connect the stereo output to the video 4 RCA analog input or labelled CD input ?

There's really no need to do either. You can simply use the analog 5.1 outputs for stereo output and save some money on cables. That way you can just use the multi-in for all you music listening (multi-channel and stereo) and the digital connection for your movies. Less fuss, less muss
