Guys,
I was running a component cable directly from my RDV-1060 to my Panny projector. Yesterday I tried to hook up the video out to my RSX-1056 using s-video (I had a good s-cable handy and no second component cable) then use the component monitor out to go to the Panny projector. Accordding to the manual all video inputs are sent to the component out, so that should work, shouldn't it? I managed to get picture and sound, but strangely enough no color. Only black and white image. I checked the settings to see if I accidentally turned on some sort of black and white setting, but this does not appear to be the case. Any hints on what could be amiss???
If I only want to use one video out (only use one source for video), are there any advantages to first connecting the video out of the RDV-1060 to the RSX-1056 and then sending it to the projector from the 1056 (instead of going straight from the RDV-1060 to the projector)?
Thanks for any help guys!
Lennart
