Most have a 'line-out' setting in the setup menu, I'm assuming you've moved that to the highest setting?

I know one of the benifits of the Polk piece is a hotter output, seems most of the car models are a little low. A simple line level amp should help you out like this one:

        Even mentions use for XM.

12vdc is 12vdc. Get a 12v DC power supply from Radio Shack and wire it up. I highly doubt you will find anything that cheap for home use (and if you do it will be the same thing with the same power supply, but a nice plug to plug it in).

                Polk XM Tuner Output

I've played with the Polk XM Tuner signal settings -- no audible difference.

Back when I used the original Delphi SkyFi (and home cradle) you could hear a difference. The quality, however, was bad at all levels.

Setting volume levels on RSP-1098 - rears seem soft?
                    by jlee
Hello. I just got my RSP-1098. Firmware is version 3.1 (I guess the 2 week wait was worth it... seems as if I ended up with the most recent version). I just got my Classe CAM-200 for the center channel yesterday.

                    Setup:
                    Left, Center, Right - CAM-200
                    Rear - RB-1080

                    2 Ch purists...what are my options? rc-1070 or ??
                    by tboooe
Hi, I am setting up a 2ch configuration. Right now I have b&w 805s, RB1080, and will be getting the RDC1072 and REL sub very soon. So my question is:

What preamp should I get? It seems that people think the RC-1070 is OK and the RC-1090 was better but it has been discontinued....

                    Hello -

I am a newbie to the audiophile and wonder if someone could field a couple of questions...

                    1. Where should set the cross-over frequencies for my front speakers (B&W DM603 S3) and subwoofer (ASW600)? Also, for the subwoofer, there is a setting on both the...

                    RB-1070 review
                    by sdecker
Hi everyone. Here’s the write up on my new RB-1070 amp.

I was and still am using a Rotel RMB-985mkII as my other amp. Both amps are matched with Rotel 1055 receiver. Speakers used are Klipsch KG series speakers, except the center backs, which are KSB series.

                    Equipment...
