    RMB 1095 & Balanced IC's

    Greetings Everyone,

I know I read this somewhere but can't find it in the manual or by searching.

I was looking for something else yesterday in my box-o-cable, when I ran across a little bag that had RCA plugs with black plastic caps. I'm pretty sure they came with my amp. I'm running my RMB 1095 with balanced inter-connects. Are these supposed to be in the RCA inputs on the back of the amp, or are they just for shipping (which I can't imagine what good they would do).

Thanks, and sorry if this is a repeat question!

Yes. They are supposed to be plugged into the RCA jacks when you are using Balanced/XLR connections.

I have a home theater with B&W 803s front and surrounds with the HTM-3 center and a powered subwoofer. I'm upgrading my electronics and have pretty much decided on Rotel. My room is ~3500 cubic feet and I am struggling in my decision about which amp to buy. I'd appreciate any thoughts from others....

      Balanced or RCA???
      by A*Caps
Hello all, this is kind of a follow-up to my last post ( I should've included this second question in the original post). I know that the Rotel RMB-1095 takes Balanced interconnects, however, the RSP-1066 only has the RCA for outbound. Are you all just using RCA on both ends, or RCA to Balanced? I am...

Hi! I need help: i have a 1095 hooked to a 1098. The unit with the ground pin attached has a small but audible buzz. If i disconnect the ground everything is dead silent. Ok, here's the strange thing.
If i disconnect the 1098 from the 1095 the buzz goes away. So i've tried a million and one combinations,...

      RMB-1095 Won't Power Up
      by Fargo
      Hello,

Went to turn on the RMB-1095 the other day and it would not power up. Normal start-up sequence is for the power indicator to light (blue LED) after the power switch is pushed in. Next, all five channel over-current protection indicators light (red LED) and then after a few seconds...
