Just noticed an announcement for a new RDV 1040 on Rotel's website. Anyone heard what the difference is from the 1060?

Ok.. Trying to decide on a new dvd player.. I know older panasonics and the new Denons would have better pictures than either of the Rotel's, but with my luck and the overall trend in DVD players I would rather take a 5yr warrenty and higher build quality than better picture..

I just purcahsed a used RDV-1040 and I was suprised to fine that the rear panel jacks are not gold plated. Does anyone know if the jacks on any of the 1040's were ever gold plated or was it just on the 1050 or 1060. I could have sworn it was supposed to be plated. Since they...
