whats a normal temperature for RSX1056

    HI,

When I was cleaning the upside off my receiver I noticed that it was pretty warm. I think about 45 degrees Celcius. Is this a normal temperature or should i be concerned.

There probably is no "normal" temp but a "normal range". The temp of the unit is highly dependent on room temperature.

If you're measuring toward the right side of those ventilation slots, I can easily see 45 C. Mine runs quite hot there and mine sits on top of my equipment stand so it has air on all four sides and above, but I don't see any problems with that temperature, as long as it remains that temperature when you are using it for a long duration and doesn't get any higher.

I wouldn't worry about it at all.

              HCA 1000 operating temp. question
              by Audiophiliac
We have a client we just did a system "re-do" for and we stacked his 5 HCA 1000 amps in the top of an enclosed M/A rack. They are all bridged. B&W 804s for fronts, HTM1 center, N805 rears.

The cabinet maker didnt really design enough airflow capability for the amount of...

I just moved in with my girlfriend last weekend. This is temporary until my HT-room...errr I mean house is built (it's still in the planning stages, it could take 3 years)
Unfortunately her house is not that big. The only place where I can put my 802s is in the bedroom.

how warm do your amps get?
              by stgdz
On a whim I decided to check out the temperature level at the top center of the heatsinks, the center base where the fin begins. The case top was taken off to get the best temperature. The amp is in an open air environment and not in a rack.

I recorded an average temperature at the...

              CA2200 Temp. reading
              by duketbrd88
I have a classe ca2200 with B&W 804S's and cp500. Just wondering if it normal that heatsink #2 is always 3-4 degrees warmer then heatsink #1. This has been like this since day one. Was wondering what kind temp readings you guys get. It is enough that i can feel that 3-4 degree difference to the...
