    CA2200 Temp. reading

I have a classe ca2200 with B&W 804S's and cp500. Just wondering if it normal that heatsink #2 is always 3-4 degrees warmer then heatsink #1. This has been like this since day one. Was wondering what kind temp readings you guys get. It is enough that i can feel that 3-4 degree difference to the touch. Doesn't affect the sound, so i don't think i should be worried. Thank you, MIKE

    Hi duketbrd88,

    that's normal.

each heatsink have differente phisical position insibe the cabinet =1 modul (channel) is more naer to a place hot....

and with a CA5200 = 5 modulparts is like a sandwinch the chees on the center is always more hot :W so each channel have a differente °.

      HCA 1000 operating temp. question
      by Audiophiliac
We have a client we just did a system "re-do" for and we stacked his 5 HCA 1000 amps in the top of an enclosed M/A rack. They are all bridged. B&W 804s for fronts, HTM1 center, N805 rears.

The cabinet maker didnt really design enough airflow capability for the amount of...

      Rotel 1090 heatsink question
      by tanwn
i bought a used rotel 1090 and would like to know whether this is normal. The rear of the top plate heatsink facing rear of amp is hotter than the front part of the heatsink facing towards the front. Is this normal? After a while should the top be just warm to the touch or hot.

      RSP 1098 running hot?

I couldn't find another thread on this topic, but it probably has been covered...

I just got a 1098 a couple weeks ago (love it). Mine is in a cabinet that is completely enclosed, but I am using a series of fans to pull the hot air out of the cabinet. I think there is good airflow, and...

      How hot is to hot
      by jdbaker
Due to the A51 being larger than I anticipated, it had to be installed in an enclosed cabinet. I can prop the cabinet door open and it also has a small exhaust fan. I have never had any problems with the A51 over-heating but I was concerned and finally bought a thermometer. After many hours of playing...

      Hot RB 1080 *please help*
      by asimov66
I've placed my rotel as recommended by rotel but still it's hot to my opinion.

The placement is such that the sides are very close but there is a distance made with wood so there is absout 5 cm of air gap below and about 15 cm above and no front/back cover.

      Still the rotel...
