    When do you think will the 1055 be replaced?

    Planning to get a 1055 but can wait for one more year. Just wondering when rotel might upgrade this unit.

    Andrew... any inside info? lol. Or how often does Rotel cange models based on past experience. With the 1098 out I'm sure they are cooking up something new.

      I am sure they are working on a new model.

      But I am also sure they will not tell you, because the everybody waits for the new model in stead of buying the 1055 :-)

      I think about end Q2 2004 we will see some new models.

          I asked but they choose not to comment on when the new models would be out. My guess would be that the first to get replaced would be the 1065 since its older then the 1055/1066 models but that's purely speculation on my part.

                  1055 sound better than 1098...is it possible?

                  Im in a dilemma. I have been toying with my new 1098 ALL day and for some odd reason, the sound with movies is not as good as the 1055 it replaced. All my settings are basically the same as the 1055 but I just cant get it to sound as good or better(which I think that it should surpass) than the 1055....

                  I went into a store yesterday, and they had a brand new RSX-1055 on the shelf. I noticed it diplayed the volume on the display. So it was at least a V2.24 software version.

                  Apperantly the is not mutch stock here in Holland, since the software is rather new.

                  I wil get mine...
