    RMB 1066 - Help

    Hi guys....its my first visit...please be gentle....


    I am upgrading my 2 ch set up to full home theatre.....

    I was hoping to find a 3 channel amp.....namely the Rotel RMB993....but it is proving difficult to find one...

    Alternatively I am considerring a new RMB1066.....and bridge the 6 channels so it is 3 X 150W.


    Any doing this now..........would love to get some feedback........?



    I am a bit concerned with deterioration of the sound quality when bridging the unit...........

    and any idea what its Peak Current would be in Bridged format.....

    my other 2 Ch amp that will drive the front main speakers peaks at about 80 Amps........so i don;t need to get top that level for the rears and centre (which will be powered by the new amp)....but I would like to get something that has some b@lls....if you get my drift.......



    look forward to any advice.........

    and alternative suggestions......
