    RSX-1055 Component video inputs

I recently changed my video display from a Pioneer elite PROHD510 with multiple component video inputs to a Panasonic 50" plasma HDTV with only one component video input. Therefor, I am using the component video switcher on the Rotel 1055 for the first time, to switch between my progressive scan DVD player and Hughes E86 HDTV DirecTv receiver. My questions: how can I tell if I have the old 10 MHz inputs vs the newer 200 MHz, and if I have the 10, am I losing anything. I see no artifacts as set up now but I wouldn't want to be compromizing the video signal, either. My 1055 is almost 1 year old and has software version 1.37.
    Thanks.

I thought it was firmware version based, ie 1.?? was 10mhz, 2.?? was 200mhz, but I'm not so sure.

    The FAQ states

    4. Does the Rotel 1055 and 1066 pass HDTV signals properly?
Answer: The first generation of these models did not pass HDTV signals since they were limited to 10 mhz of bandwidth. Rotel then changed the chips to allows HDTV signals to pass properly and all newer machines can pass upto 100 mhz. If you're not sure about your machine its best to call Rotel with your serial number and ask them if yours is one of the newer machines.

Alternatively email Rotel tech support - techsupport@rotel.com

Thanks, I emailed them just now and they already responded (!). I need to upgrade the video switching circuit.
