    ATI 1807 VS rotel 1075/1080

    I need your help:

I can't decide between the ATI 1807 and the rotel 1075(5ch)+1080(2ch).

Those two amps will sound very different from each other. Is there any way you can audition both? What speakers do you run?

I have an ATI 1806 with an RSP-1068. I listened to the 1075 before purchasing the ATI and did like the sound. The ATI 1800 series compared to the 1075 is not a fair comparison though and would be better compared to the 1095. I suggest listening to both. The ATI's are brighter than the Rotel's. I like both and ultimately purchased the ATI because I could get a 6 channel configuration and the ability to add the 7th channel in the future if I wanted.

Many feel that Amps "amplify" power and the difference you hear is your speakers response to the presence of more or less power.

            Hi Guys,
I'm just enquiring about opinions of the 1075 vs 1080 for two channel. I have 1075 with 1098 and Epos M22 mains and was wondering what improvements, if any, I would gain from substituting 1075 for a 1080 to power the front channels only. I understand there is a power increase of...

should i get RB 1080 or RB 1075 to use with denon 3805?
            by audiofan
            Hi,
I have denon 3805 and i have decided to get rotel power amp. One thing i'm confused is whether i should get 1075 or 1080. Since 3805 rated as 120wpc, does it matter if i go with RB 1080 (200 wpc). I don't know if i should worry about the wattage balance between two units. In another word,...

            Hello everyone,

I am planning to upgrade my current system (5.1, see signature below for full details) to a 7.1 system with a pair of MonitorAudio GS60.

I have to admit that this new system will be the heart of a brand new HC + Stereo system in my new house (in construction...
