I've only had my Rotel gear a month, but someone in my household (maybe me!) managed to break the plastic piece that covers the IR blasters on my remote. I've determined how to open the remote up, but I'm wondering if anyone has a contact or knows if I can get a replacement IR window for this thing.

Have you tried you're dealer? Rotel's web site? Equity audio on the east coast has a service dept. for Rotel mods and upgrades, I believe I found a link to their service dept. on Rotels web site. Mail to Ashaw@equityaudio.com, he will let you know what you're options are.

Recently, my RR1050 remote has displayed "FRQ DIR" and no buttons work. I tried pressing the reset, preload and clear buttons, but only the reset seems to do anything. The LCD screen flashes, but the same message keeps coming up. Has anyone encountered this? Any suggestions? -
I just got off the phone with Shane at Rotel repair as my RB 1080 is being sent back after its second repair. He assured me that it is Rotels policy to replace and unit that has failed 3 times for the same problem.
