Update failure RSP1066

Hello every body

Yesterday I updated my rsp 1066 with version 1.5.0.
Checksum was ok, and the new features were there.
Everything seems to be working fine.
But when I tried to watch a DVD there was no sound.
The RSP doesn't recognises AC3 or DTS anymore!
What the f*ck! Both my PC and DVD always worked fine passing the AC3 streaming into the RSP. But now the Rotel only works with PCM signals.

The surround proccessor seems ok, when a stereo signal is selected all the emulation modes seam to be working fine.

What can I do?
I have tried updating again,
Tried restore factory defalts

Please help

Umm are you sure you used the right version for that model? I.e you didn't have a version 2 model that you updated with version 1 firmware? I'd maybe try another computer and see what happens as that's known to cause problems in the past.

My former version was 1.3.7 so i uploaded 1.5.0

Try an other computer?
The flashing worked ok, the checksum matched. An no errors during communication.
So why should my pc be of any influence?

But thanx any way.
Maybe i can find an laptop.

I had Rotel on the phone and they send me their oldest firmware version.
1.44 this one is working fine.
't seems to me that my rotel is to old for theire latest firmware version.
Now i'm waiting for the reaction in japan.
But for now i'm having a working proccessor agian.
