    RSP-1098 Function Knob

    Hi
I am new to this so bear with me. I have just taken delivery of a new RSP-1098 and are a little concerned at the "Function" knob operation. All I have to do is LOOK at using it (exaggerated) and it skips past or back from whatever I was using it for ie. it is very, very overly sensitive to the point of not seeming right. Is this normal?? I was going to get the RSP-1068 but was offered this unit instead. Should I be returning it? Has anybody else experienced this? Your comments, advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hey Greg,

I have this problem as well. Call your dealer and get another 1098. Better yet go there and test your replacement before you take it home. I can live with (but shouldnt have to) a little indecision from the function knob but mine had a mind of its own! I should be getting my replacement on Monday.

Thanks for that Rob. Just what I wanted to hear. Will contact dealer tomorrow for replacement. Thanks again.
