    1066 REMOTE

    Hi all

Has anyone noticed how slow the 1066 remote is when going back one chapter on a CD or DVD, compared to the DVD remote.
If I try and go back more than one chapter it takes forever. I have the 969 remote... i think.

Does anyone know a fix for this.
    Chow

Maybe re-learn the chapter back button on the remote from the original dvd remote?

Thanks for the tip... but I have already tried that several times. It does it on both my Pioneer and Sony DVD players.

How does yours perform? Mine works but it is almost as though it is slow in sending the signal to the player.

Learning codes can almost be a fine art. Try learning it several different ways, or cobinations of ways.

        Close to the sensor
        Far away from the sensor
A short push and release of the button.
A regular push of the button
Hold the button down for a while

If trying all that doesn't work, it is a remote that came with a preamp. Get a Pronto and be happy.

Also darken your room when learning codes

My RR1050 performs fine with all equipment. And for speed, well .. i sold my Pronto since its screen refreshes are as slow as windows xp on a Pentium 60 MHz.

            Hello All:

I too have been lurking about for the last month or two learning everything I could before taking the plunge………and I did with the 1066/1075 Silver-Combo and I couldn’t be more satisfied! I’ve left the Denon family behind with little disappointment...
