A customer with a B&K Reference 50 is upgrading to a plasma. He is using the component video switching/upconversion feature in his Ref 50, and was wondering if it's possible to assign the same component input to more than one A/V input.
In this case, he wants to have the option of watching the cable HDTV picture while listening to CDs. So, assuming he's using Video 1 and Component 1 for the cable box and CD for the CD player, he would want to assign Component 1 to both Video 1 and to CD. That way, when he selects Video 1, he'd get cable audio and video. When he selects CD, he'd get CD audio and cable video.
My question to sum it up: will the Ref 50 allow the same Component input to be assigned to more than one A/V input?
Thanks,
KJP
