    C1 OSD video output?

    Is anyone here using the video output of the C1 for the on screen display? I'm wondering what your solutions are and how they look.

    Thanks! :dothewave:

      I have it hooked up to use but don't use it very much.
      The C1 is in a built in cabinet in another room. I have a composite feed from the OSD to a 5" B&W tv in my HT and also an S-vid feed from the OSD to the projector.
      That allows me to either view the OSD on the 5" set if I want to see it while viewing something else on the projector at the same time, or changing the input on the projector to the S-vid input to see it on the big screen.
      If my projector had PIP, I would probably just use that, but it doesn't so...can't.

        C1 OSD output

        I have the S-video going to my plasma; I use PIP to show the info in a small window. Works great!

          I was wondering because nearly everything that I watch is in HD and my Mits won't do PIP with HD. Is anyone out there using a separate 7" widescreen LCD screen or anything like that?

            using another smaller display makes sense...^_^;;

            haven't had the time for that...and I don't use the OSD outputs anyway ^^;;

            Happy Viewing...

              Hello all, I just purchased my first Componet HT setup, 1068 and 1075 and I'm experiancing some issues.

              I am using a Comcast Motorola 6208 STB, Kenwood DV-502 DVD player (not progressive), and a Mits 65809 (owner's manual ). The Cable box and the DVD player are connect to the 1068...

              I had my receiver rsx 1055 repaired and when I received it back, the OSD (connected via s-video) didn't work properly. It would not overlay on video for any OSD unless it was on Tuner input. Everytime I hit OSD on other inputs, it seemed like it was in contention with the video that was playing and...

              Classé audio processor and 4k tv/projector

              Hi everyone,

              I understand that Classé Audio processor doesn't support 4K yet. I have the SSP-800 for the HT right now and I want a stereo system in the living room and a separate HT cinema room in the basement. I plan to get a 4K TV for the living room and a 4K projector for the cinema...

              Does the RDC-7 output its OSD only on s-video and not on component output?

              TIA!

              I am running component video to my projector (Dish Network and Xbox) and a HDMI cable from the OPPO BDP-83 to the projector. I have an S-video cable routed in the wall between the RSP-1066 and the projector but have never used it.
