    Osd

    I had my receiver rsx 1055 repaired and when I received it back, the OSD (connected via s-video) didn't work properly. It would not overlay on video for any OSD unless it was on Tuner input. Everytime I hit OSD on other inputs, it seemed like it was in contention with the video that was playing and made the screen flicker.

    I tried to re-flash the firmware and now the OSD doesn't display at all. What should I do? I don't want to send it back for repair unless I have to because it takes 6 weeks. Should I try flashing it to a lower firmware level? If so, where can I find previous versions?

      Guess what Rotel sent me this morning!
      Note that the HD units indicates the newer models running the modified chipsets. If your machine is using these different chipsets please do not flash your firmware unless you've obtained the correct file directly from Rotel.

      i cant get rid of flicker!!! its driving me nuts.. first blue and red are really hard to see flicker on period.. but i noticed that i can look at the projector and see it flicker... so i adjusted that and got the flicker down and the webpage was showing black and white lines that made me check the flicker......

      Recently upgraded firmware and now cannot access the setup menu on rsp 1068. I hit AUD and then Menu/OSD, 1050 remote says OSD but the 1068 panel does not change. Other buttons on the remote work such as vol, on and off, sub, and others. The 1050 also works with other units (TV, CD, Phono).
