say I have a parasound amp set to auto signal sense on ... will an amp connected to its 12v trigger out be turned on too?
will auto signal sense ON also turn on the 12v trigger?

just FYI, i've never gotten the auto-signal trigger to work on my A51. I had to go with turning it on via a 12v trigger on my pre/pro. I think most people around here would agree that the auto sensing is....problematic at best.

I've had my A21 and A51 hooked up to my C1 via 12v trigger for years now, from the beginning. Works great, never had a problem.
mike c, are you wanting to hook up an amp to a Parasound PRE-AMP, or PROCESSOR? Or daisy chain two amps together so turning on one also turns on the other?
Also, mike c, I assume you're in Manilla, Philippines? Did I mention that I was born there, at Clark Air Base?

its actually, receiver to parasound amp (I was hoping using signal sense) then 12v trigger to another amp
oh, and also, I know this isnt the proper thread but it seems kinda a waste of a new thread:
with the parasound amp ratings, it would seem that the THD ratings are quoted on a second breath (not like other brands which quote max wattage and THD in one breath)
they only say "this is the THD at Full rated output" I know this sentence means at max wattage but, I feel its a bit dodgy. anyway, my question is, since the comparable parasounds are cheaper than rotels over here ... do parasounds perform in the real world at par of better than their quoted wattage levels?
(the 2125 400w bridged mono looks mighty impressive to me
)

mike, my parents were there in the Philippines for about 3 years, and I was born about halfway through that. I haven't been back yet, but it's definitely on my list of places to go.

oh I see, was just checking if you spoke the local language
If you like beaches, Boracay is a good place to start.

The local language? From back in the PI?
Umm... as far as your question, I have no data about actual wattage vs. ratings, but I've never known Parasound to underestimate nor eggagerate their specifications. I think you can take them as being very reliable. (at all output levels)

Manila Phils
Mike,
I'm a Filipino living in Marin County now. Lived in White Plains before moving here. Glad to know there are Rotel lovers there as well. Make sure you get a outstanding surge device to protect your toys. Merry Christmas!

I recently had a new home threatre installed which consists of my current Onkyo 787 receiver acting as a processor and new Rotel RMB-1075 and RB-1070 providing the amplification for a 7.1 setup (which sounds fantasic btw). The problem being that my Onkyo doesn't have a 12 volt trigger...-

by Belgarath99Hi
I recently acquire a Rotel RB993. Unlike the new Rotel RB1080, RB1095 etc, the RB993 does not have a 12V input. I like to know if anyone has suggestions on how to go about adding some sort of auto power-up kit to the power amp to work with my Denon 3805 receiver.
Ideally...-

by RichardBHi,
I have recently picked up a Rotel 1570/1575, and I am having a few problems with the 12v trigger between the 1570/1575. I am unable to get the 1575 to power on while using the trigger when turning the 1570 on. I have the trigger cable connected to trigger out 1 on the 1570, and the...-

by cmr15I've got a 1067 which runs rather hot, and I'm aware that that's the norm. I'm about to place it in a custom wall unit and need a little info regarding the use of fans and a 12v trigger.
What I'd like to do is use 2 accessory computer fans to circulate the air. One would pull in air...-
