    B&W CM9 GRIIL MARKS

I have a pair of b&w cm9's (black gloss) and have noticed after a few months
that there are small scratches , I believed caused by removing the front grills and replacing them back.As the grills are magnetically attached. Not a very good design at $4500 (au) any thoughts out there ???

Not much you can do. I did you use a automotive wax to remove some of the small scratches but the gloss black finish just scratches to easy. B&W needs to but more hardner in their clear.

First of all, let me say that I think that I hate this hobby!, or whatever is. :P It's more like an addiction! After getting my Stentorians done, I had to build something else, and now the hunt is on. And, more importantly, I HAVE to have a reason to go out there and just listen to them. 8)

Upgradeitis recently took its toll on me and there is only one prescription for it - give in to the symptoms and UPGRADE!

My current system is no slouch, at least I don't think it is. Emotiva 8.3 towers for mains, 6.3 center and ERD-1's for my 2 surrounds. They are powered by an...

          804 vs CM9

I wanted to upgrade my DM602 S3/DM601 S3 and CC60 S3 with CM9/CM5/CMC2. First I went to a local BB. They had CM9 connected to Pioneer SC55 and Denon CD changer. It sounded great. Good tight bass, no comparison to my 602s. Very good imaging and great dynamics. If there is anything to criticize it would...

          by Opus007
I feel the grills on the 683's are the cheapest I have ever seen.I have broken 2 pins on each speaker cab And I just replaced the grills and now have broken pins again.Sometimes when I watch a bluray that has a lot of bass , I can actually feel the air in my seating position from the flow port.Is this...

Help to decide between the CM9 and 683!
          by Mikael
I need some help to decide which B&W speaker to get, it's between the CM9 and 683.

Is there anybody who have compared the two?

I like the sound of the 683,the full and low bass and the mid but the treble could be a tad sweeter(but it's not bad).

          The CM9...
