I am a newbie with speakers. I am planing to get the B&W685 for my L&R ASW610 for sub, but not sure which centre (HTM61 or 62) to match it with.
I know B&W suggest using HTM62 with the 685. In terms of spec, the HTM61 has the FST midrange and it goes... -
Would anyone have any reservations about using 3 HTM61s in a LCR setup? I have a Salamander triple wide rack, and I am going to add the riser so I can put 3 speakers under the TV. I know the 685s and HTM61 would be the first thought, but why not use 3 HTM61? Any thoughts? THey would fit perfectly 3... -

I've read a review on the new 600 series and it states that the HTM61 does a bad job as a center.
"The problem was the HTM61 center channel speaker. Despite the pedigree offered by its FST midrange, it blended poorly with the left and right 683s."

So I was at my local dealer a couple of days ago and see the HTM61 and since I have the HTM62 and I saw the difference in size I said to myself ...wow that would look good and sound better in my system.WRONG.So I buy it and let it break in for 2 days and then sit down and pop in the new Transformers... -
