    B&W XT Series

    The XT Series is no longer listed on the B&W site. I have a pair of the XT2s that I'm going to use as surround speakers and wanted to get another pair to use as front height speakers.

    Anyone know when or why they were discontinued?

      Ok, so the 7 series speakers are being discontinued. Here is the problem...We have a pair of 704's for the fronts and an HTM7. We did not get the rears because we were not sure which ones to get. We can get the 705's or DS7's. The other option is to get a pair of 805's.

      Hi,

      This is my first post and I hope with your help I can make a more intelligent decision regarding the purchase of my first premium HT as well as get some critique on the overall HT.

      The specs of my room are 24' (L) and 20' (W), however there is an intrusion on both sides...

      I don't see much info in the CM series but the thing is the wife!! You know the story, clean lines their just the right size & all that. Anyway I could swing the 700 series if I really want but then I loose points plus grand kids tweaking the tweaters & what else.

For instance the new 805 Diamond has been labeled everything from 805D, 805Di to 805D2. According to B&W they are referencing the new series as the D2 series for short....
