    802D or better for this...

OK, so this may not strictly be a topic for B&W, but if you think you have a "nice" setup with speakers that are at least as full range as the 802D model (or have a very good sub or two) then please listen to this track. Remember to have the volume turned up and then be prepared to be amazed.

The track is by James Blake and is called "limit to your love" and is not yet released, but will be on November 29th 2010.
BBC radio is calling it one of the most important albums of 2010. Make your own judgment, but one thing is for sure - I have never heard a track like this one before. Nothing even comes close....

    Enjoy!!

Only have my laptop speakers for youtube but I can imagine the low frequency tone. Is it anything like Trent Reznor's recent hi def freebie album. He was mucking about with LF sounds on that recording. i wonder if that is still available now that I have 24/192 capability in the 2 channel setup.
    Mac 8gb SSD Audirvana ->Weiss INT202 firewire interface ->Naim DAC & XPS2 DR->Conrad Johnson CT5 & LP70S-> Vivid B1s. Nordost Valhalla cables & resonance management. (Still waiting for Paul Hynes PS:M)
    Siamese

Please explain why. I have listened to it three times through the 1cm speakers on my laptop and the reasons aren't obvious. Presumably you are referring to the low frequencies that I cannot hear?

You have aroused my interest sufficiently to get the album after 29 November. I can only hope that my lowly 803Ds will do justice to "Limit To Your Love". I'm fairly confident that they will!

My thoughts on 802D with Classe M400
          by xk8boy
          Okay guys,

I’ve been demo’ing the Classe’s M400 with my 802D. My intention is to provide some feedbacks to those interested. I searched the web and couldn’t find any satisfactory comments about the pairing of these two. If there're questions, I’ll try my...

My comparision of RSP 1098 to Denon AVC A1SE+ (AVR5803) (long)
          by Ossi
So the last 2 days I have been listening intensively to the RSP 1098 and my “old” Denon AVC A1SE+ which is more known as AVR 5800+ (with upgrade) in the US.
This comparison does only represent personal view of both units side by side. However I thought it might be interesting to let you guys...

Review: A comparison of Rotel Integrateds - RA1570 vs RA1592
          by Joey_V
          Introduction:
This is a comparison between 2 pretty popular integrateds. The Rotel RC1570 has been Rotel's best new series 15 integrated amplifier since their introduction, however, most recently there has been this craze for better and more powerful integrated amplifiers. The days where an...

New U2 album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb"
          by Chris D
New album coming out from U2--can't wait! Although "All you Can't Leave Behind" wasn't up to Joshua Tree standards, it was pretty good. I'm hoping this one is even better.

"How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" comes out November 23rd. Reportedly, the original recording...

New Creed album under the name "Alter Bridge"
          by Chris D

For those who didn't know, (I didn't until this past week) Creed officially split up, with the lead singer Scott going own way to pursue other things. Well, the rest of the group grabbed a new lead singer, and just put out a new album with the band name "Alter Bridge"....
