    B&W XT2

    Hello,

I currently have 805 diamonds in front and at first I thought that I would buy 804 diamonds for fronts and move my 805 diamonds to back. Now I must come clear with the reality that I wont have the money for 804Di's and I'm now considering of buying XT2's for back. Does someone have experiences of XT2's? My livingroom is about 4x4 metres. I'm still going to get HTM4D2 to center, but the back channels aren't usen that often that I thought that XT2 would do the job there. The XT2 sure looks really nice in pictures and that's important to me too.

    Thanks,

    Mika.

How about a second hand pair of 805s. That would be an ideal compromise in my book.

I use 705 at the rear with 804s at front. Very happy with the HT sound.
    Mac 8gb SSD Audirvana ->Weiss INT202 firewire interface ->Naim DAC & XPS2 DR->Conrad Johnson CT5 & LP70S-> Vivid B1s. Nordost Valhalla cables & resonance management. (Still waiting for Paul Hynes PS:M)
    Siamese

Yes that would be more ideal but 805's are black and my fronts are piano black. I want that all my speakers are same color, yes that sounds stupid for some. I would like to hear experiences of XT2's.

Hey guys, new member here. For three years, I've had B&W 601 S3s in front with 600 S3s rear and the LCR60 center with an ASW 500 sub. I just sold my 601s/ASW 500 because: a) a buddy offered to pay my cost for them; 2) a lack of WAF on the looks of the 601s, and 3) wife's fears over my toddler...

        B&W 602 S3 vs. XT2
        by P1et
As much as I love my 602 S3s, I am thinking about upgrading to the XT2s. My wife and I have recently moved into a house with a smaller living room and we feel the 602 S3s are a bit too big.

What does everyone think of the XT2s? I have not seen too many reviews on them.

My audition of the new B&W 802 & 805 Diamonds - Interesting! (pics)
        by btf1980
Went with a group to Stereo Exchange in NYC to hear their wares. And the new 800 series were there.

Let me just say that to all the people complaining about the way the speaker looks with the silver trim, rest assured that it looks very handsome in person. I think the flash on camera's...

        B&W 805 Diamonds vs. 804 Diamonds?
        by ejr1953
I am very happy with my current music audio system (NAD Masters Series M3, M4 & M5), Velodyne Optimum 10 sub, Furman power conditioner, Audioquest cables and B&W CM5's on stands. Silly me, I had some free time the other day and stopped by my favorite audio salon to audition the new PM1's. ...

XT2 vs CM1 for stereo setup
        by maddav
I am facing an urgent decision between these two speakers. I like the looks of the XT2s better but was told they might sound thin in a stereo setup. It seems like most people buy them as part of a home cinema installation. What do you think?

I might consider adding a sub in the future,...
