Help to decide between the CM9 and 683!

I need some help to decide which B&W speaker to get, it's between the CM9 and 683.

Is there anybody who have compared the two?

I like the sound of the 683,the full and low bass and the mid but the treble could be a tad sweeter(but it's not bad).

The CM9 is not yet in Denmark,so I can not do a side by side test.
I can see by the specs of the CM9 that it doesn't go as deep in the bass as the 683 do, but is that something you can hear or fell missing when the music plays? And what about the mid and treble in the CM9 compared to the 683?

I would love some input guys!

Best mikael and happy easter to all

I have not compared them, but you could get the 683 since it's available there, and use tube components to give them that sweet sound.

I've heard both extensively, and personally, I would just wait until the CM9 becomes available so you could compare. IMO - the CM9 is the superior speaker, but don't let my opinion sway you, wait until you can compare them yourself. If you go with the 683 now, you will always ask yourself "what if".
A camera, passport, good music, good food and good company is all I need.

        Rotel RB 1072 with B&W 683
        by Mikael
I have tested Rotel RB 1072 with B&W 683 this weekend, and I must sat it is one of the best combo's I have heard yet.

The bass is power full and punchy, not to warm and not to lean. That can be adjusted be putting the speaker closer to or further from the wall.

        The midrange...

        804 vs CM9

I wanted to upgrade my DM602 S3/DM601 S3 and CC60 S3 with CM9/CM5/CMC2. First I went to a local BB. They had CM9 connected to Pioneer SC55 and Denon CD changer. It sounded great. Good tight bass, no comparison to my 602s. Very good imaging and great dynamics. If there is anything to criticize it would...

        683 and CM9 comparison

Just how much better is the clarity, separation, detail and resolution of the CM9 versus the 683?

I'm running my 683's off my Emotiva UPA-1's at the moment.

Which has more bass? 683's vs CM9's?
        by JaguarXKR
Which of these speakers have better bass, since i am building my system and i have two 684's right now, but want my next pair to have more bass. So which of these two have better bass, 683 or the CM9's?
        Thanks for any info,
