I was wondering if I were to use a dac or a different means to connect my mac pro to my rotel amp.. will it get rid of that constant hiss noise?
I hear a hissing noise from tweeters constantly on while playing music from mac pro

I have newly introduced a Samsung Bluray into the setup and had to redo some connections (HDMI usage) on the Rotel receiver. I started observing a constant HISSING noise, audiable 6 feet away from my equipment. Do not know what is causing this. I haven't tried unhooking any equipment...-

by Music4LifeI own A21 for almost a year now and yesterday I noticed a hissing sound coming from my speaker (ATC scm7). It's not audible from the "king's chair" but when I put my ears closer to the speaker I can hear the unwanted sound which I'm sure wasn't there before. Is it coming from my other components...-
