Asw750

Question, I´m about to upgrade my 602s3 for either 683,805 or 703!

I would have to wait to years to have the money to use on either 805 of 703s?

I could buy the 683s now and upgrade in a couple of years?

Also, which speakers would go best with my asw750? 703 or 805?

I´m a bit worried that the 805s are to small where as the 703 has the fantastic fst midrange?

My system:

please don´t laugh ops: I´m sure it could be worse but I´m really happy after I bought the power amp!

I used an ASW750 along with 703 front speakers and they blended extremely well. I really don't think you can find a better match than these.

Personaly I have changed the 703 with a 805S.


805s is much better and I have too the sub 750. no problem.

hmmmmm, very interesting! why did you change from for 703 to 805? I always thought that 703 being a big floorstander would really play loud and clear with a huge sound stage? I´ve always found the 805s to sound a little boxed in, or that they sound very small?

Anyway, I don't have the 750 but I do have the 703 and love them...

750 sub with..

I have changed my 703 (front) with a 803S. --> 703going to rear.
when I have buyed the 805S to replaced the 703 on rear at fisrt time I have
connect the 805S at mains speakers.
Personaly I say "wow impossible!!! but the 805S are really good speaekers.
for HT and for 2 channnel too. A system 2 channel with a 805S speakers is better from 703. -> you can have what do you will as subwoofer, B&Wserie 6/7/8, velodyne, svs, rel,.... Exemple a HT system with a 802d mains, htm2d,
805s rear is a referenz setup: you can buy a sub from B&W or velodyne, is the same... the sub is not so important like a center speaker "for a perfect match". the sound from 805S is not only for a small room. My room is 10meter x 5,5. Ok the sub can help you is stereo in the same misure the sub help the 703.
