Rotel - If you can, go for bi-amping your mains and centre - the 602's will love you for that.Originally posted by ac81017I have the following, B&W 602s3´s front and back, lcr60 centre, asw750! I find that most B&W loudspeaker just love good clean power - the just become more open and alive!- Bottom

I am of the opinion that ANY external amp will sound better than the internal amps of a receiver. (especially if the speaker is not so efficient)
go Rotel.
(I have to qualify my receiver statement ... since I have not had a high end receiver, I can only speak for mid to low entry receivers)Last edited by mike c; 20 August 2006, 11:18 Sunday.- Bottom

i agree that you should go for a Rotel
......we have the same fronts & center & i just got a Rotel RMB-1075 connected to my Yamaha HTR-5860 as power amp.-pre/pro combo, & it indeed made my 602s3 & lcr60s3 sing :E ......am now experiencing a totally new satisfaction in HT viewing just by adding the Rotel power amp. to my modest set-up...... 8)

by robertsHello friends,
I ordered Rotel RSX-1057 (5 x 75W RMS) A/V receiver and made pre-payment for it. Today I noticed one sentence in user manual, where states "speaker impedance 8 ohm minimum".
Before that I ordered following speakers of System Audio: 2x SA-1280 main channels...-

by corysmith01Hi-
I'm fairly new to ht and have made a fair number of purchases lately. In doing research and becoming more familiar with the hobby, I've decided that I'd like to move to seperates. I can't afford to do it all at once, so I'd like to buy them one at a time. I currently have a Marantz...-

by anthonyhI am quite embarrassed by posting this thread, but I will swallow my pride and proceed anyway.
I am new to this forum, but not new to home audio. However, for the last 12 years I have been running a 5.1 system with a Carver HR895 a/v receiver as my main component. The speakers have until...-

by bsodmikeHi ya guys, I'm just in the processing of organising my HT and this may come as an odd question. I've got a Rotel RB-1070 powering my centre and RB-1080 powering my fronts, connected via the pre-outs. Now is it possible for me to disable the 'amps' in the 3805 so as to reduce heat dissipation but...-
