    Swapping Tweeter on 603 S3

I have to replace a tweeter on a 603 S3. I know I can just order one from my local dealer but it is easy to change? I've never fiddled with one of these before so would appreciate advice. thanks.

They are real easy, you will have to pull the mid driver out to gain access to it, once you do that just reach up inside and rotate the tweeter to unlock it from its cradle. Then just do the opposite upon installation.

Great. So no fiddling with any connections. That sounds about as easy as you can get.

You will have to unplug the mid driver and the tweeter, make sure you note the correct polarity on the mid driver, the tweeter has a plug that can only go one way.

OK. As long as it is just plugs and not soldering wires, I'm ok.

How to fix your pushed in tweeter (EASY FIX!)
            by hockey_101
Grab a roll of duct tape and place the tape over the dent on the tweeter then pull it off slowly and the tweeter should pop back out and be much more presentable than a pushed in tweeter.. If you need more pulling power, try pulling at an angle or heating up the duct tape a little bit with a blow dryer...

            Comparison between DM 603, DM 603 S2, DM 600i
            by Ruben1
Can anyone here please tell me the difference between these models and why is one preferable over the other. For example, the specs on one of these (can't recall which one) states that the tweeter is a Nautilus tweeter. The other 2 models do not. Does this fact make the one with the Nautilus tweeter...

            Hi guys,
Long time browser, first time poster.

I have 3 speakers in my setup powered by an Adcom Gfa-6000 5 channel amp. 2 603 S3s and an LCR600. The speakers are set to large on my processor, as I don't have a sub yet.

I was watching a move a few nights ago at a...

DM603 S2 tweeter repair or cosmetic issue?
            by Tim Eagles
I have just had my eyes opened to the fact that removing my tweeters from a DM603 case would not be as hard as I thought, but from users experiences with bonked tweeters, or in this case, a childs delightfully directed poke on both tweeter domes, would you recommend disassembly and repair of what I...
