    LCR600 S3 Center Channel Stand with DM603s

I'm currently looking for some center channel stands because my tv stand cannot properly accomodate the center channel and was wondering if there was a recommended height for the center channel.

I was looking at the stands here:

This VTI 13" Stand looks like a good, cheap option. What do you think?

    Speakers consist of:
    DM603 S3 (Front)
    DM601 S3 (Surround)
    LCR600 S3 (Center)

The setup is going in a bedroom w/carpet.

    Thanks for your help.

they are good stands for the money. I used to have one of VTI-made stand for my LCR600 and the stand are very good value for the money. In theory, you want all the tweeters in your front stage to be aligned with your ears vertically when you are in your listening position. Ideally, you'd want your center speaker to be at the same height as your L and R speakers, but that would block your view of the TV. They are great stands for the price though.

I have the VTI VSP stands for my 602 surrounds (x4). I filled them with sand and they look and feel completely solid. The construction of them could be a little better, they are a little "cheap" looking when you look really close up. But they are really well built for the price. Mine had a few flaws in them from the molding of the parts, but it was nothing that detracted enough to make me return them.

If you fill them with sand, I suggest taking the paper/cardboard stopper piece they give you and sealing it with glue to the pole, it will help keep the sand from coming out. I also suggest cooking the sand for 30-45 minutes at 350 in a glass dish to get the moisture out of the sand so it won't ruin your stands.

In all honesty though, everyone complements my stands as looking really good with my 602s (I have the black 602s and the silver pole, black base VSP stands)...so for the price, it's tough to beat!

        Enjoy!

B&W 602s with VTI VSP stands?
          by PewterTA
I figured I'd post this here since maybe someone actually has these stands and are using them with their B&W speakers. Just looking for opinions on them. I'm thinking about getting 4 stands for my 4 rear 602s and I like the looks of the stands (black base/silver pole) and figured they'd even be...

          VTI stands?
          by BlazeMaster
Has anyone here seen the VTI stands before? The DF and the VSP series looks alot like the speaker stands for the 800 series for B&W. I especially like the VSQ series the most since I like how the shape of the bottom base looks like the shape of the 700 series. Anyone has experience with them?...

          Good speaker stands
          by titan7
I have Monitor Audio Gr-10 speakers, I just purchased some VTI speaker 24" stands. I filled the column with 40 lbs of #9 lead shot, so stand and shot are now about 55lbs, and the speaker is 22lbs. These stands hav spikes but I am still not getting a "rock solid" mount. I am wondering...

          B&W LCR600 - Not so magnetically shielded?

Hello all. Just wanted to share something with you all and see if any of you have experienced the same behavior. I am using a B&W LCR600 for my center channel speaker. I used to have this speaker sitting on top of my TV (Hitachi 57S500) but moved it not too long ago to a speaker stand right in...
