B&W 602s with VTI VSP stands?

I figured I'd post this here since maybe someone actually has these stands and are using them with their B&W speakers. Just looking for opinions on them. I'm thinking about getting 4 stands for my 4 rear 602s and I like the looks of the stands (black base/silver pole) and figured they'd even be useable with the 805s once I get them back there...

    What do you guys think!?

Here's a link to the best picture I could find of them...

    Thanks!

I have a pair of VTI made stands that I used for my 602s and 601s. They're DF series which looked alot like the Nautilus series stands. The problem is that, there's a significant difference in height between the cabinets of 602s and 805s and I had a hard time picking which height I should go with. They're great for the money, much better than some of the Lovan made stands that I threw away when I got these.

About 6 months ago, when i picked up my 602s and 601s from the dealer, he recommended the B&W stands made specifically for these speakers, which cost me in the region of $60-70 per pair. (I dont remember the model # of the stands) They had the B&W logos on the front and had dual vertical tubes which can be shot or sand filled. Thats another option for you if you want to consider those, since they get the speakers to matching and right height. (same as the ones pictured here, but in black - silver ones arent available from B&W - thats what i was told http://www.bwspeakers.com/images/Spe...02_S3/main.jpg )

I dont know if my reply will help, but its an option (cheaper one too )

        Should I keep 600s/exchange for 602s?
        by BlazeMaster
Hi, everyone I just got my 600s almost 2 weeks ago, and am thinking about exchanging the 600s for 602s. I can then put the 602s in front to match the LCR600 better and keep my 601s that I have as fronts right now and then use them for surrounds. The price difference would only be about $300. The...

        VTI stands?
        by BlazeMaster
Has anyone here seen the VTI stands before? The DF and the VSP series looks alot like the speaker stands for the 800 series for B&W. I especially like the VSQ series the most since I like how the shape of the bottom base looks like the shape of the 700 series. Anyone has experience with them?...

        Wall mounting/drilling 601s ?
        by umasgrad
How do I wall mount 601s? It is going to be my surrounds and. I was looking at some not so expensive mounts, but they require drilling the B&Ws !
I am not able to imagine putting two holes in the beautiful 601s. But it looks like the most inexpensive and resonably good looking option ( I...

        Good speaker stands
        by titan7
I have Monitor Audio Gr-10 speakers, I just purchased some VTI speaker 24" stands. I filled the column with 40 lbs of #9 lead shot, so stand and shot are now about 55lbs, and the speaker is 22lbs. These stands hav spikes but I am still not getting a "rock solid" mount. I am wondering...

        601s vs the 705s?
        by BlazeMaster
Hi, all I currently have the 601s right now for my fronts with the LCR600 and am planning for a eventual upgrade to the 700 series within next 6 months and wanted some ideas. I know it's all going to come down to me listening to them and pick the one I like better. What's the different in sound between...
