My ASW855 has stopped working. I have checked all I can. My NAIM AV2 processor seems to be outputting a signal, according to the display. \the green light is on at the back of the sub but I am getting no sound. When I unplug plug in the cable I am getting no clicks or pops. I have switched it off at the mains and put it back on again to no avail. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

A few months ago I had to send one of my subs (asw855) back also because it had a problem, didn't know what caused the problem but also got no sound out of it.My dealer just sended the amplfier unit back, he took it out, seemed there was a problem (electronic)Originally posted by Chelseaforever -

Since a few month's I have problems with one of my ASW855's.There is a sort of hum in the speaker and it already has been sended back to the technical service by my dealer in the Netherlands.I recieved it back but after some time the problem came back.It's like someone who turn's on the light in another... -

Dealers (inlcuding mine) have started to recieve shipments of the ASW855 sub and B&Ws web-site has been updated to delete the previously announced ASW865 and ASW875 subs... Interesting - as spec-wise the ASW855 seems awefully like the proposed ASW865...

I have an ASW855 Subwoofer. It does not turn on. I checked the fuses and they seem to test fine. Can someone help me please:

Hi,
My ASW855 subwoofer has been damaged while moving.
The amplifier section is not powering up, does the ASW855 have a crossover aswell as a amplifier or is it all in one?

I am interested adding the ASW855 to my system. Just wondering if anyone has any internal pictures of the subwoofer, I came accross a review of the Velodyne DD18 on audioholics which had internal pictures, and to be honest it didn't look like very good workmanship.
