Are Rotel and BW bed buddies?

Although, BW does not officially recommend any amp for its speakers, on promotional materials they always coincide. Rotel is sold in the USA by BW/USA. I really wonder how official this relationship is. IMO much of the snobery against Rotel is due to it's Japanese origin. Most audiophiles still believe Japan's audio technology is inferior to Europe's or the USA's. I guess they also drive oldsmobiles and mg rovers :rofl:
Seriously does any one around here have any specifics on the relationship between those 2? Although some around here love their macs and tout their overall superiority in most promotional materials from BW or rotel you see "royal" BW 800's and their ilk being driven by "plebian" grade rotels!:unsure:

That's only in the Rotel brochure. Look in the B&W 800 series
brochure and you'll see them outfitted with Classe.
