    Dust covers for 602 s3's

Just got some 602s and I think I'm in the initial paranoia stage of wanting to keep them pristine. I'm away from home occasionally on trips and I'd like to cover them up with dust covers. Has anyone found good covers that fit well? Ideally, I'd like to order from an online store rather than a B&M one.

    Thanks!

I was thinking of the same thing for my 802d. My initial plan was to buy from fabric (maybe fleece) and have my wife make some covers. But given how long it will take here to actually do it, I may be interested in buying a premade cover. Does B&W make speaker covers? I checked their site and did not see anything...

After a little Googling, I found a site that can help both of us.

      http://www.compucover.com/
      (scroll toward the bottom)

From a cursory check, it looks like they make custom dust covers. You specify the size, material (nylon or vinyl), and color. And the good news is that they ship globally!

They also have premade profiles for many electronic devices but this seems to be out of date. For example, they have measurements already for 602's for the S2, but not S3 like I have. You can search the site for manufacturer, model number, etc. I might have a cover made for my receiver as well. Hmmm...

      Hope this helps!

      p.s. I'm a Bruin, too. Go Bruins!

You could buy new sheets for your bed, and use the old ones to cover your speakers. Just a thought.

          lobato: BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dknightd: I thought about that but did not like the way it looked. I am actually using some sheets right now. I am looking for something more attractive.

HEre is a site of a company that makes custom covers in all types of materials. http://www.digitaldeckcovers.com/

My turntable is a dust magnet!
                by Kevin P
While spinning some vinyl, I became painfully aware of how much dust had collected on my Denon DP-300F turntable... not just on the dust cover either... the plinth was coated in dust as well, even though it spends nearly all its time with the cover closed. I've kept the platter and the cork mat clean,...

                DUST?
                by Rock Dog
Wondering how members handle dust? DUST is a very important part of the care and maintainence of ALL your electronic equipment. It can cause real problems, especially with power supplys and amplifiers.

                1) Amps and power section with a nice layer of dust run hotter.
                2) If your...

Anyone here know if its a good idea to leave the cover on or off on b & w speakers?
                by jjahshik32
does it collect more dust if you leave the cover off, or is it about the same? The reason i'm asking is because I want to leave the cover off of my 805s because it looks so nice but then I dont want it to build up with alot of dust in there.. also does the speaker produce better sound with the cover...
