i am getting my first set of bw 803d`s and was looking for suggestions on a good amp to drive them.

With the exception of the diamond tweeter in the 803, how many years have they been making the 803S & the 804S as we know them today? I guess what I'm trying to ask, is if I see a second hand pair, how many years old can they be and still be the same speaker in the showroom today?
