    B&W History - 803 & 804?

With the exception of the diamond tweeter in the 803, how many years have they been making the 803S & the 804S as we know them today? I guess what I'm trying to ask, is if I see a second hand pair, how many years old can they be and still be the same speaker in the showroom today?

Is "Nautilus" the correct and current term for these speakers?

I think the 802s went from "Matrix" (Robo Cop) to "Nautilus" (Merlin Heads) XX number of years ago.

Just trying to get educated as I begin to shop.

    Bluespower,

The new B&W 800 S and D series (including 803S and 804S) were announced in November 2004 and came out in early 2005. So, second hand S and D series should be at most 1.5 years old. Hope this helps.
